In a short week or so we will be beginning the highly anticipated book Christmas Jars by the renowned best-selling author Jason Wright. (Whew! That was a mouthful of an introduction!)
I am so anxious to begin this reading - I've been looking forward to it for a long time now!
Given the little bit that you already know about the book, I would love to hear what you think this story is going to be about!

I think the story of Christmas Jars is going to be about a homeless girl who is lonely on Christmas finds a jar on the street and the jar has fireflies in the jar and they are magic so whatever the person wish’s for it comes true. So that they can have the best Christmas ever. The fireflies escape one by one when she say’s a wish. The last wish she will get is a family.
I think that the story Christmas jars is going to be about a family’s religion. There religion is were they get some jars and put some fireflies. To light up the house and Christmas tree. I think the fireflies in the jar would represent their religion. I think there religion means freedom witch is what the fireflies in the jar represent. This is what I think the story Christmas jars is about.

We had fun on the DC trip. I think the book will is about things on Christmas I hope it well be a good book. Maybe bells or trees or Christmas songs and maybe in another country. Maybe someone got a special gift for someone they love.
I think the book is going to be about a magical Christmas. The reason I think it’s going to be magical is because on the cover it looks like pixie dust or something like that. I think it’s going to be about a magical Christmas for fairies that were trapped in a jar for ever but then finally on Christmas they are set free and when they are the whole world has the best Christmas they’ve ever had
I think that it will be about a jar that gets passed down every Christmas to the youngest gets it when some one dies so they always have a memory of there family. They are a rich family and the grandmother and the one that is able to take care of it.

How are you doing? I am good. Washington D.C. was awesome. I hung out with Whitney, Brianna, and Mariah Clement all day long!! I had to sit with Scott on the way to D.C. and that boy is crazy!! Then I sat with Whitney on the way home and Brianna sat with Scott it was fun. Now to the question you’re asking.
I think Christmas jars will be about a person who is making a lot of wishes. What is a Christmas jar? I think a Christmas jar will have a lot of fireflies in it that have wishes for Christmas. But, the cover looks like there are stars coming out of the jar. I really don’t know anything else. Love, Linda:)
I think that Cristmas Jars is about a Cristmas day and everyone is decerating jars for Cristmas.Or there going to be somewere for Cristmas vacation. The people who are decerating these jars are cristain and they want

My prediction for Christmas Jars is that their will be very young children and maybe they don't have a mom because she had passed away and her dad maybe was never in their childhood. so they had been adopted.So their foster parents sit down with the foster children and make Christmas Jars for Christmas.

I think the story will take place some where it's hot during Christmas, because on the cover of the book there is a jar with little spots of light and they look fire flies flinging out of the jar. So I think it is Christmas in Australia. Also, I think there will be a family that might do something with the lit up jars.

What I predict in the book called CRHISTMAS JARS is that santas soul is in the jar. And the people have to protect the jar.
And on Christmas eve santa comes and takes his soul and thanks every body who saves his soul. He gives them presents who saved the jar.
I think the book Christmas jars is about a jar of fireflies that gets passed down every year to a younger person in the family. And every year the person who gets the jar has to put 10 fireflies in the jar. And if they don’t they wont get any gifts from Santa for 5 years. Because passing the jar down is a family tradition that’s why they have to pass it down. That is my prediction about the story Christmas jars.
I think that Christmas jars is about people how have lost there homes and they live on the streets and that people send them food. And they sent them the food in jars and they save the food. And then they eat the food and put lighting bugs in it and they put them on the trees.

I think that the Christmas Jars is going to be about a girl who is homeless and needs money so she gets a jar . Then she puts fireflies init and get another jar and sakes it for money for gifts for her family for Christmas. Then she takes the money to the store and tries to give the money to the clerk .But the clerk doesn’t except the homeless.
I think that the Christmas jars is about some people are catching fireflies for the Christmas trees so they will light up the whole place. So after that they went around peoples houses and sang Christmas carol. Then they went back to there house and opened there gifs from people. Later they had a big Christmas dinner and said they were thankful for every thing. That’s what I think its about.
My prediction of Christmas jars is they will catch fire flies put them in a jar and put them on a Christmas tree. The people that put the fire flies might be a tall person. Might be someone that likes Christmas. Might have to be tall because of the Christmas tree might be tall.

The book Christmas Jars looks kinda like a dramatic book with lighing bugs that soar the sky on Christmas night.They are spreading Christmas joy to home to home before the children get up to open there Christmas present . I can’t wait to read it in class. I hope you fill better and I miss you very much.

I think the story is about lights in jar and there going to put on the Christmas tree. Or the elves make a present that is Christmas food for the poor. The rest of the jars will be send to the others. If they do put lights in it like lightning bugs they will put it on top of the Christmas tree cause it will be the cross or the angle. Cant what to read this book, it sounds exiting. Feel better and come back to school. We all miss you!

How are you doing? I wanted to tell u about this book called Christmas Jar were going to start reading it soon. Well here is my prediction. I think there might be a family that don’t have a lot of money and is about to lose their house. And they lose there jar while packing up and it had a name in graved in it and some one finds it and donate presents to the family and in side of that jar will be filled fool of money.
I thank that they will get jar and play music with them. They will go to churches and perform. They will get invited to holly wood and get a career.
My prediction on this book would have to be a sad book. To me I think it would be about a homeless woman or man. And on Christmas day one of them find a jar that’s full of money and they get all excited because now they have money to go eat. And they thought to them selves that was the best Christmas present they had found or got. 8( That’s sad! Mrs. Halterman it was good seeing you the other day I really miss you! 8) 8) 8)
I think that the book Christmas Jars is about this little girl who like lighting bugs and her parents don’t have money for Christmas. So they find this pitcher of this lighting bug so that what they give her for Christmas. But what the parents don’t know is that Santa claws gave her that present.

Her wish was that she could have a family and get to celebrate Christmas and be able to have a family who cares for her .. P.S. Dear Mrs. Halterman, How are you doing after we V chatted? Mrs. Clark just asked some people how the book is going to turn out. I said that the jar with little lights in it was Santa Claus who magically put himself in a jar and sent himself to kids and gives kids what they want. Why Santa is a way his elf take over his workshop. It;s up to Santa to try to get back his workshop, but the elves try to help Santa to save his workshop in 20 days or the elves turn into the devil's workshop. I have more to say but I need to stop now.

The best conflict in the book Chirstmas Jars is when Hope gets her house broken into, she finds a bug jar of money after her house has been robbed! I like it because she cares about it and wants to know who gave it to her. She doesn’t want to be selfish about it. But she learns that it’s a tradition, and she’s trying to learn about who started it and why they do it. The conflict is person vs person.
I think this book is going to be about Christmas. There would be people handing out Christmas jars.
