Hello guys, and welcome to our classroom blog! This is where we will be sharing responses to all sorts of reading related things this year. I can't believe that we have already finished one week of school, the Labor Day weekend is over, and here we are back again! I don't know about you, but it feels like we have been in school longer than just one week. I feel very comfortable with all my students and classes and am looking forward to a great year! Hopefully all the bugs have been worked out of this blog, and now we can get down to some serious blogging!
Okay...we spent last week establishing that reading should be important to you, and maybe it is. However, there is always the chance that it isn't - and that's okay too. This what I want to center the discussion around this week - the importance of reading to you. I want you to:
1. Share your honest feelings about reading. (Please use complete sentences - no one or two word responses!) Tell me honestly how you feel.
2. Now discuss why you feel the way you do. What happened along the way to make you feel like you do about reading?
Remember to keep all language appropriate - and have fun!

i like to read sometimes but not all the time. my mom read me the harry potter books when i was 5 thats what got me hocked on the books.
i do not like reading. I dont like reading because i used to have a horrible reading teacher and she wud make us read for soooooo long and she would pile it on us.
I LOVE READING BECAUSE WHEN MY FRIENDS COME OVER WE READ A SHORT STORY THAT IS FUNNY OUT LOUD . BUT WE DONT DO IT ALOT.
I love reading it is so awesome. When i was little my mom used to read to me i absolutly loved it! The books i love to read are usally mystery, fiction, ato biography and a lot more.
I love reading because i like to learn new things about people and its fun to read storys.

I like to read because it's something to do in your free time and it's fun I mean I enjoy it I like the Lurlene McDaniel books they're sad but really fun to read that's why I enjoy reading them.
I don't like to read.I stoped liking reading when I was in Forth Grade because we read all the time and we had to take alot of ar test. We would also read alot of books at once. That is why I don't like reading
1 Reading is okey , depending on what I'm reading if theere is some drama with people around my age then I love to read but if it is stuff about history then I don't like it as much.
2 The reason I feel the way I do about reading is because I love reading drama that's is what interest me when I read book's
I love fiction books because they can take you to other places in your mind.I'm not really interested in nonfiction books.
I like reading i hope i can be come a better reader soon because i love to read books i love this book i am reading it is called Telling Christina Goodbye
i dnt like reading bc i am nt a good reader or speller i try my best but i just cnt get it in my head.
Let me tell you one thing i dont like reading because you have to read. I would rather watch a movie about that book but when i went to 3rd grade i said in my mind that i should start to read because when im older i wont know how to read so im starting to like reading! Hi, i like to read when i am happy and in a good mood. I like to read the stories that have adventure to them or scary middles to them. I like to go camping alot so i like to see what happens to the person on the object in the story. The scary storys that i like are goast and mummies.

I have an iteresting book,heat.It is about a boy named Michael Arroyo.He wants to be in the little league world series.
I use to not like reading. In tell this year it like I just got intersted in reading.And just like I told you I finshed that book in that one day. I never did that be for. And I fill good about my self now.

i only like reading if it is a good book that i like other wise i hate it. All my sisters love to read so in are house we have alot of books and i just started piking up books and started to read.

I want you to know that i enjoy reading about as much as i do sports. I think that the way that i enjoy reading so much is cause my mom and dad used to read to me all the time.
i like to read sometimes but not a lot becuase i like civic more.when i was little my mom would read me dr. seuss books thats why i like to read books sometimes.

I love to read,but the books i only read are mysterys.My mom,sister,and I sit down and read a book about a mysteries together.I like to read but not all the time.thats how i love to read mysteries my mom read those books to me all the time.

i don't like reading all the time cause my teachers in the past wanted to much from me. but if i can find a book about sports i will read it.
