We just finished reading chapter 7 of Jason Wright's Christmas Jars where Hope meets Adam and Lauren Maxwell and is eager to find out more about the origin of the Christmas Jars. Take another look at the quote below and make some predictions. What is their story, or maybe what is their secret? What do you think?
"Something in her said the story of Adam and Lauren Maxwell was bigger than a few random acts of kindness. This had either become something tremendous and the Maxwells knew why, or it was about to, and they were the reason why."

I think that Hope should stop writing about the Christmas jars. And do something else. Let the Christmas jars be a secret. I think Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell are a very good couple and I think they are the ones that do the Christmas jars. I think Hope should not lie and just tell the truth.
i think that.....they have something to do with the christmas jars Adam seems like a joker and they seem like loving people so joking with the christmas jars is part of it with people not knowing who was it that gave them the gift but the other part of it is loving and giving people with no hope such a generous gift.
I think that Laura is Hope’s mother that has escaped from her mistreating husband and has married Adam. Laura probably told Adam and ever since they probably started the Christmas jar because they know what it feels like to be without anything or without someone so that’s why she probably did that. But who knows - it could be a whole different story, but that’s my guess.
My prediction is that the Maxwell’s have a secret. That secret is that they are the starters of Christmas Jars, and they don’t want anyone to know it.
I think that they are the ones that gave her the christmas jar.
I think they are the ones doing it but don’t want to say. They won’t tell her till latter in the book after Hope finds the same tow and the same jars hidden in the back room.
I think that they are the ones that left her the Christmas jar and it's her real mom and dad and they are going to tell her they're her real parents.
I think it was bad for her to lie to give a hit story to the paper. But the MAXWELLS must have something to do with the Christmas jars or that is what she thinks about the MAXWELLS and she wants to make a hit story for the paper.
It think that hope will find out that the Maxwell’s are doing the Christmas jars. I also think that the Maxwell’s will find out that Hope is not a college student.
I think Hope has finally got some one that has a Christmas jar and they send them too. So I think that she will get a good story out of them.
I think that the Maxwellls are the people that left Hope the Christmas jar. I think that Hope should continue with the hunt of the Christmas jar because if she does then she will probably find out who sent her and the other peoples the Christmas jars!!!!
I think that the Maxwell’s know the people that gives people the Christmas jars full of money. I think the Maxwell’s do Christmas jars with other people. And they give the money to people they know that needs the money.
I think they know that she isn’t a person from college that is doing a paper and that they are the ones that put the Christmas jar there. She should keep going on with this investigation about the jar.
I think that Hope should keep Christmas jars a secret. And Hope should stop lying to that one guy that is inviting her to their house. And I think that they know about the Christmas jar and what they did with it.

I think that Adam and Lauren knew who was putting Christmas Jars in front of people’s doors and Hope was going to meet the person or people that are putting out Christmas Jars in front of peoples doors.
I do think the Maxwell’s do know something about the Christmas Jar because they might be behind all of the research that Hope has found. And they kind of know that she is trying to find out about it and write about her story because they have had many other people wonder about the Christmas Jars.

I think that Hope will tell them about the Christmas Jar and they will want one to put money in the jar that Hope found in her house. And then Hope will go and try to find her mother so they can live a better life. Then I think that when she goes to the Maxwell’s they will take good care of her until she finds her mom.
Well i think that there secret is that they will have a baby and that will be there secret. But i still think that they will spend it one each other for Christmas day.
I think that they are not the ones sending out the jars. They will not tell anyone who is. Where they got the ideal from? Why did they keep the tradition going?

I think they are the ones who do the jar on Christmas. They are happy about it too. They think they are doing a great thing too.
In the book Christmas Jars Hope is writing about the Maxwell family and the jar they have. She tells them that she is a student at a school doing a project but that is a lie. She is writing something to stick in the news paper.....I think she should stop lying and tell them what she is really doing so that they don't get mad at her before it's to late.
I think tat the Maxwell’s are hiding something, something that they don’t want Hope knowing about. I think that they are hiding that they are the creators of the Christmas Jars or they are the helpers. Maybe that Adam and Lauren’s secret is that they send the jars to people that have no money or have lost someone but why did they send it to Hope, or maybe the Christmas Jars are just a welcoming or something of saying hello.
In the story Chrismas Jar. Hope goes to the Maxwells. Hope finds out that Lauren and Adam make Chrismas Jars for people and every since they meet. Every year they go back each holiday so they can rise more.

I thank the Maxwell's have a secret. The secret is that they started Christmas Jars. They hope no one will find out.
